Ask Boris

Amongst the various 'floating' members of the creative team Boris has a special place.
Particularly obnoxious sales callers (we are on the tps register - I'm talking to you
Thomson Directories) were given the name of Boris Yankovich as a contact.
Before long Boris had a bulging post bag and people would call to 'pick up'
earlier conversations they had had with Boris.

Boris is a cat.

Really. Our old office was in a small boatyard - which despite any pretensions
belongs to a tom cat who was responsible for eating most of the local wildlife.

He arrived as a stray and used to shelter in our office when the weather was bad,
he was always well behaved and eventually moved into the main house but still
returned for the occasional visit.

Boris was not your everyday cat. Like most most cats he has a special wisdom but
he only answers yes/no questions using a Magic 8 Ball - unless there's tuna involved.
